Plant Engineer - Chicago

Global manufacturer, who’s products are everywhere, seeks a ‘Plant Engineer – Chicago’ with strong Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset and supervisory experience to take on responsibility for the facility’s Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), equipment reliability and safety,

• You will need a solid understanding of OHSA and able to identify gaps and implement measures to achieve zero safety incidents.
• You will have a knack of getting to the root cause of failures (using techniques such as 5Whys and FMEA) and coming up with solutions to drive a zero breakdown culture.
• Scoping capital equipment projects, identifying process improvements, preventative maintenance strategy, budget management, and…
• Day-to-day leadership of maintenance team, including training & development.

Requirements:

• Broad understanding of manufacturing plant and predictive maintenance.
• IT savvy and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Plant maintenance team supervisory experience (3yrs+)
• Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline.
• Troubleshooter with strong communication skills and leads by example.
